Adhesive labeling machine is a more common type of labeling machine in recent years. For production enterprises, whether it is the production of labeling equipment or the precise bonding between adhesive labels and the bottle body to be labeled, they will face higher requirements. Faced with the uneven quality of the domestic adhesive labeling machine market, how can manufacturers choose adhesive labeling machines with higher cost-effectiveness will be a concern for people. So next, we will discuss the key points for selecting adhesive labeling machines from four aspects as manufacturers of labeling machines.

1. Discussing Selection from Main Functions and Controls
In terms of synchronizing speed control, in addition to the "automatic calculation of label length" function mentioned above, the self-adhesive labeling machine should also automatically complete synchronous adjustments of conveyor belt speed, label output speed, label output length, etc. This is also the difference from traditional self-adhesive labeling machines and the guarantee of stable labeling quality. The control speed of traditional adhesive labeling machines relies on human experience to adjust, and the difficulty of human adjustment is that all actions are difficult to synchronize. If there is no synchronization, the labeling process will frequently change, resulting in poor labeling quality.
In terms of control system, choosing a PLC+human-machine interface control system is the main approach. Compared to early single-chip microcontrollers (single board computers), using a general-purpose PLC as the main control device can enable the PLC control system to achieve the following objectives:

(2) In the future, maintenance will be more convenient and upgrades will be simpler;
(3) It can be conveniently controlled online with the upper and lower workstations.
In addition, it is necessary to consider adding a visual system that can perform real-time detection, control, and alarm of the integrity of printing, the condition of the characters, and whether the labels after labeling are complete.

2. Discussing the selection from the aspects of delivery speed, printing speed, and output
When choosing a self-adhesive labeling machine, people often only focus on the output of labeling (i.e. how many pieces can be labeled per minute), without considering the synchronization of labeling speed, printing speed, rolling speed, etc. comprehensively.
Of course, the labeling output covers other indicators, but other speed indicators play a key role in the quality of use and production development. People can observe the advantages and disadvantages and potential initiative of each mechanism from their analysis, which is also the reason why choosing a self-adhesive labeling machine should be comprehensively considered.
(1) The feeding speed of self-adhesive labeling machines is often not comprehensively confirmed based on label width and printing speed when matching the output of self-adhesive labeling machines. It is also unreasonable to choose based solely on higher production indicators in the manufacturer's sample, because the higher production indicators given by the manufacturer's sample are generally determined based on a certain label length and a certain printing method.
(2) The printing speed of self-adhesive labeling machines is particularly important for industrial labeling machines, as the label can indicate the printed label. Therefore, when selecting the feeding and rolling speed of the adhesive labeling machine, the printing speed of the matching printing machine should also be considered, and the smaller one can be considered as the actual labeling production capacity value.

3. Discussing Choice from the Perspective of Special Purpose
When labeling bottles, special use issues are often encountered. For production, it may encounter: (1) double-sided labeling; (2) Similar to plastic bottles, the surface of the label may experience a decrease in adhesion or the formation of "bubbles" on the label surface due to release agents. So we need to pay attention.

4. Discussing the Selection from the Quality of Labeling
The generally recognized quality requirements for labeling are: (1) Labeling error ≤ ± 1mm, which can be achieved even if the overlapping position of the label is repeated multiple times;
(2) The label should be attached to the bottle surface after pasting, and should be flat, without wrinkles or "bubbles";
(3) The printed batch number has clear and legible handwriting, without overlapping or blurring, and the batch number position error is less than ± 1mm.

5. Label selection and printing settings
The labels used in the self-adhesive labeling machine are all in roll form, and the quality of the labels will directly affect the quality of the labels. The die-cutting, slitting, static electricity and dust treatment in the label printing process are also important.
